Joined SOE F Section with symbol ‘F/Int’, June 1941; duties included a broad range of tasks including conducting and briefing agents and coordinating welfare of their families; was in Baker Street, June 1944, as rear link to the integrated F and Free French Sections; set up office of SPU 24 in Hotel Cecil, Paris, autumn 1944: returned to UK to wind up French Section until closure of SOE in December 1945; attached to Legal Section of British War Crimes Commission in Germany to trace the fate of agents who had not returned from concentration camps, January 1946.
