The Secret Army Exhibition, Beaulieu, Hampshire

During the Second World War, some 3,000 SOE agents were trained in conditions of great secrecy in a series of large country houses scattered across the Beaulieu Estate in the New Forest. This exhibition introduces visitors to the training schools, instructors and agents. The exhibition was opened by HRH The Princess Royal, patron of the Special Forces Club and Commandant-in-chief of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY).
